New generation SX fasteners

Ensure the integrity of your building envelope holds fast. Amidst forthcoming changes to Part L regulations, the new generation SX range of fasteners is the quickest way to secure airtightness on your project.

On-site trials show the SX self-drilling fastener is up to three times faster than generic imported products. It’s all thanks to a unique thread design, a hardened drill point and recessed washer, which give rapid sub-structure engagement. This enables critical installation time and costs, to be reduced. Improved pull-out resistance and structural performance ensure speed is not at the expense of airtightness.

The new range incorporates just three fasteners for use on metal build-up thicknesses from 0.75 3-14mm, with the specially designed SXW fastener for use with timber sub-structures. With four products covering a broader spectrum of applications, multiple fasteners and un-used stock are a thing of the past.

All SX fasteners are available with the standard hexagon head. And where maintaining the integrity the building design ranks alongside safeguarding structural integrity, low-profile irius heads ensure a sleek, airtight finish.
